The True Meaning of Christianity.
Jesus didn't die for the Christians, he died for sinners. The Christian is a new creature who doesn't need anyone to die for him. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says; if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Romans 5:1 says, anyone who receives the salvation of Jesus Christ is immediately declared righteous before God, with no past record of sin. The Christian is one who received the free gift of righteousness, he is righteous, and Jesus did not die for righteous people.
Christianity didn't begin with the cross, it began with the resurrection. With the cross, he paid for the sins of the whole world, and with the resurrection he brought us to a newness of life. You don't become a Christian because he died for, you become a Christian by arising unto the newness of life which is brought about by his resurrection. Romans 6:4 says; we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. The christian is not a forgiven sinner, he is a born again new man who never sinned. 1 John 5:11-12 says;.... this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
