The Prayer of Faith.

Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark 11:23).

The word ‘believe’ in opening scripture is a verb formed from two Anglo- Saxon words. The first part means, ‘to accept that something exists and the second part means, ‘to act like it is.’ The ‘believer’ therefore is ‘a haver,’ he is not looking to get something from God, because he already received all things the day he gave his life to Jesus Christ.

What then is the prayer of faith, you might ask? The prayer of faith is that prayer which involves praying the Word of God over your life and over the circumstances of your life. In this prayer you do not ask God to do something for you, rather you speak to the things you want changed, and make faith proclamations in line with his Word.

For example, if a Christian was said to be a barren, and the doctor's report came back saying she cannot have children. Deuteronomy 7:14 says,There shall not be male or female barren among you. What that Christian ought to do, is to pray this Word of God over herself, and proclaim that they cannot be barren because the Word says so. You put your hand over your womb and say; I'm fruitful in the name of Jesus, I am producing children and gran children, in the name of Jesus. I cannot be a barren, because it is written; "there shall not be any male or female barren among you. The Doctor's report came from man, the Word of is another report from another Doctor called Jesus Christ.
