The 7 Spirits of God.
In Revelation 5, the Apostle John described a scene of things which he saw in a vision, on verse 6, he says he saw a Lamb which was standing at the center of the throne, this Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God. The Lamb of course is Christ; the seven Spirits are the seven manifestations of the Holy Spirit. The seven Spirits have seven eyes; these eyes look into the seven gates in a man. These gates are your 1. Eyes (what have you been looking at); 2. Ears (what have you been listening to) 3. Mouth (what have you been saying) 4. The Hands (what have you been doing) 5. Feet (where have you gone) 6. Heart (what have you pondered on) 7. Mind (what have you been thinking). This is how God knows everything about us, the seven eyes report every detail to him.
Isaiah 11:1-2 listed these Spirits:
1.The Spirit of Wisdom- is the supernatural ability of God that comes upon our spirits that enables us to know what to do, how to do, and when to do in every given situation. Manifest through the gift of the Word of Wisdom and Word of knowledge. . 2.The Spirit of Understanding – this Spirit unfolds hidden secrets of the wisdom God so that we can comprehend it with our minds.
3. The Spirit of Knowledge- this Spirit allows us to know spirits and people. For example, you can know what someone has been doing in secret through this Spirit, you can discern a demon possession in a person through this Spirit. Manifest through the gift of prophecy, of discerning of spirits.
4.The Spirit of Counsel- works by giving us advises that the Holy Spirit councils which determines a plan. Manifest through the gift of Word of Wisdom and Word of knowledge.
5.The Spirit of Might- The Spirit of Might- works by showing marvelous acts of the Holy Spirit which demonstrate the mighty power of God. Manifest with the gift of healing, the gift of miraculous works.
6.The Spirit of Fear of the Lord- this Spirit allows us to walk before God with reverence, he is our loving Father, but we must not forget that he is also a Judge, who will send every disobedient soul to eternal hell. Just because he loves you, does not mean you can take advantage of him, he is very smart, and he will deal with you, if you try to play hide and seek with him. Love him, call him Daddy, but remember he is the Almighty God.
7.The Spirit of the Lord- this Spirit is the one who anoints you with power for service. He gives boldness, and sense of dominion, he puts you in charge over situations, such that you can preach and minister the Word beyond your human confidence.
