The reason for failure in life is lack of wisdom, the reason people get in troubles they have no business being in, is because they refused to listen to the voice of wisdom. The Bible says wisdom is always crying out on the streets, looking for the one who can listen to her instructions, but many ignore her. She said of herself, “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions:” (Proverbs 8:12).
Colossians 1:3 says, God has hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ. Now the Word Christ is translated from the Greek word “Christos” and it means the anointed ones. Jesus became the Christ (the anointed one), the day he received the Holy Spirit after he was baptised by John the Baptist at river Jordan. Thus he became Jesus Christ because of the Holy Spirit. Colossians 1:3 says all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge have been hidden in Christ, notice he did not say in Jesus, but in Christ. This means, everything that God knows, every bit of his wisdom is hidden in the Holy Spirit.
The Word wisdom in that verse (Colossians 1:3) is from the Greek word for Sophia and it means a collective understanding of all things. The Holy Spirit has the collective understanding of all things, he has insight into reality, he knows the issue behind every case. The Word for knowledge is translated from gnosis, and it means all the scientific information about every created thing. So in Christ are hidden all the treasures of Sophia and gnosis. This means when you get born again, and receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit into you, all the hidden treasures of wisdom and knowledge get mingled with your spirit through the Holy Spirit.
Because of the Holy Spirit, we have received, boundless streams of wisdom, and immeasurable amount of knowledge within our spirits. If we could search our spirits for answers, we could discover oceans of gold which God has hidden in Christ for our glory. Every required information we could ever need in this world is hidden in Christ, and can be made available to us as we search our spirits. What we have in the world today, are the things which man have pulled out from their spirits, these are people who don’t have Christ in them. How much more those of us who have unlimited gnosis and Sophia. Christ has made us super beings, we are far superior in intelligence, 10 times better, 10 times faster, 10 times smarter than the mind of the natural man. We are super brilliant…!
