The fullness of the stature of Christ.

Christianity is more than getting born again and dying to go to heaven. Going to heaven is a just a means to an end. God’s plan is that through the Word we should come to the unity of the faith in the knowledge of Jesus Christ unto a perfect man, until we walk in fullness of the stature of Christ (Ephesians 4:13).

He is looking to have each and every one of his children walk the earth exactly like Jesus did. He wants Christ to be fully manifested through us, as though he never left. This is the mystery of Christianity,>>>"Christ is continuing his life on earth through his people"<<<. Isaiah prophesied about this mystery & said ........"he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand" (Isaiah 53:10). Christ is prolonging his days in the earth through us (the church), he is still here living out his life through his people, he is casting out devils, healing the sick, preaching the gospel through the church.

No wonder Paul wrote, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). In Galatians 3:27 he wrote, For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. In his prayer for the church in Ephesus, he said; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith……(Ephesians 3:17).
