7 Layers of the Bible.

1. Words themselves.

This is the story, this how most people read the Bible. The words themselves tell the story, what you read appears to you the way you read. It is like reading a history book.

2. Lessons and instructions.

2 Timothy 3:16 says; All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. This means the Bible is an instruction manual which corrects, directs and instructs us in right living. It is the wisdom of God scripted and contains answers to every question in man’s heart.

3. Spiritual Transformation.

As we study the Word we are transformed spiritually by the renewing of our minds (Romans 12:2). The more of Word of God we get into us is the more our spirits take the shape and image of the Word. 2 Corinthians 3:18 say; But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. This means when we behold the scriptures we are looking into a mirror, in other words the Bible shows us what we should look like in the spirit, it shows us how we should think, and act.

4. Hidden Secrets deep within the Word.

Proverbs 25:2 says; It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter. According to this scripture God likes to hide things, and delights in showing those things to the ones who search for them. The Bible contains many veiled mysteries that the natural man cannot fathom. It takes the Holy Spirit to remove the veil in our eyes, he is the only one that can reveal God’s hidden secrets and mysteries.

5. Creative power that goes forth from the Word when it is spoken.

Hebrews 4:12 says the Word of God is a sword, Ephesians 6:17 says we should use this Sword to fight against Satan and his bunch. This means when the Word of God comes out of your mouth it becomes a weapon in the realm of the Spirit, the Word in your mouth is God talking. The Word of God is the highest Authority over all spiritual truth and realities, this means when you speak it over your life, it becomes Lord over every other circumstance and situation in your life.

6. Faith released through the Word

Romans 10:17 says; faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. When you hear the Word, faith to do the impossible will come to you. Faith is that which brings into being the things which don’t exist, the whole world was created by the law of faith. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” (Hebrews 11:3).

7. The Bible is about Jesus

The entire Bible speaks about Jesus, Genesis to Revelation is a revelation of the Son of God. In Genesis he is the Seed of the Woman, in Exodus he is the Pass over Lamb, in Leviticus he is our High Priest, in Deuteronomy he a Prophet like Moses, In Joshua he is the Captain of our salvation, in Judges he is our Judge and lawgiver, in Ruth he is our kinsman redeemer, in Samuel he is our Prophet, in Kings and Chronicles he is the King of kings, etc
