Christ has Abolished Death

In Christ Jesus, God abolished death, but many around the world don’t know this, 2 Timothy 1:10 says, Our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel. In Christ Jesus, we have life which far surpass the human or biological life which human beings have. To be born again means that the life which you received from your father and mother (biological life) ceased to be the day you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. This means you cease to be a human being because the life which flows in your veins by reason of being born again came straight from God Almighty. His DNA was transferred into your very being through his Word and You carry his DNA, and the God life in you. ……them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:13).

Jesus has made this life available for the whole world, but many don’t know it, and so they can’t activate it. That’s why we ought to tell them how to activate it by believing and declaring the lordship of Jesus over their lives (Romans 10: 9-10). This is why we preach the gospel, to let everyone know that God has given them eternal life, and this life is in his Son, He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life (John 5:11-13). God has given us immortality, 2 Peter 1: 4 says, “Whereby are given unto exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature…” We’re partakers of the divine nature; this means that we function in divinity now, no longer limited by humanity. We’re associates of the God-kind. You may ask, how come Christians still die? Death and life are in the power of the tongue, Proverbs 18:21. This means Death is a choice for the Christian, not an obligation. You can live until Jesus comes. Say this; “I’M IMMORTAL”.
