Who do people say I am?

The Bibles says as Jesus was approaching the region of Caesarea, he asked this question to his disciples; "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?" (Matthew 16:13). They replied with different answers, they said; people say You are John the Baptist, others say you are Elijah; and some other ones say you are Jeremiah (Matthew 16:14). After listening to all their answers, he asked them another question. He said, what about you; "Whom say ye that I am"? The Bible says Peter answered him and said, "Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matthew 16:16). After hearing the response from Peter Jesus said, "Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 16:17).

One day he was speaking to some teachers of the law and said something which was hard for them to swallow. He said, Before Abraham was, I am (John 8:58). He used the exact words which God said was his name. The Words I AM, means Yahweh in Hebrew, and Yahweh means the Lord. So Jesus said to the Jews I AM the Lord. In other words, he was saying; "I am the voice that spoke creation into being, I am the one who spoke to Abraham, Moses and all the prophets of old" What was he saying to the Jews, the man standing before you,the man inside this human body is the Lord himself. I have visited you in the form of a man. I AM the God of your fore fathers. But they never believed on him, they killed the one sent to save them. He is the answer to every man's problem, without him, no one can make it. Understand this, Jesus is not some legend in history, he is God manifested in the flesh, he is the Word of God which became flesh and dwelt among us, Hallelujah. John got a hold of his divinity and wrote; For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us; (1 John 1:2)
