Jesus Christ is Above All.

In the days of old, the Lord appeared to the old testament saints and introduced himself, as Adonai. The Word Adonai means the Sovereign one, a King above all kings, whose authority is of supreme power over all other authorities. In other words the Lord is the Most High God, no other god is above him. Daniel speaking with the same revelation wrote, …..”the Most High rules over the kingdoms of the world. He gives them to anyone he chooses--even to the lowliest of people” (Daniel 4:17 NLT).

Hebrews 1:2 says, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son. The Adonai that spoke to the saints of old visited us in the form of a man called Jesus. And upon coming, the Bible tells us, “the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14). Psalm 138:2 says, “for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name”. If God has magnified his Word above his name, and we know that his Word became flesh in the form of Jesus, that automatically means Jesus is exalted above his name. “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name” (Philippians 2:9).Therefore in the new Testament, we do not call the name Adonai to be saved, we call the name Jesus. "Whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13). To Jesus our hope is raised, to Jesus we look for salvation, he is the hope of all creation, no man can make it without him. He is the door, So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep……...(John 10:7)…..I am the door. If anyone enters by me, they will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture (John 10:9).
