Levels of faith

1. Little Faith

This faith begins the work but trembles in fear at the sign of opposition. The person with little faith will first hear the Word, then believes it but when things get tough along the way, he forgets what he heard, he is filled with fear and start to doubt the Word. He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm ( Matthew 8:26). 2. Strong faith

This faith remains stubborn at the face of opposition, it stands on the Word come what may. This faith looks away from the temporal results, it looks away from the physical surrounding. The Bible says Abraham was strong in faith, giving glory to God. "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God" ( Romans 4:20 ). The man refused to consider any physical barrier. He kept his focus on the Word of God which he had received. "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal" ( 2 Corinthians 4:18 ). 3. Great faith

This faith is that faith which produces immediate results. This faith understands authority and it speaks the Word as something which is already settled. This faith sees the matter in the past. Jesus said to the centurion man, "great is your faith" (Matthew 8:8) after he told him to say the Word only and his servant would be healed. Another characteristic of this faith is mentioned in (Matthew 15:28), Jesus said to the woman who would not give up, ''Woman great is your faith''. This faith does not give up, it keeps coming back regardless what you may throw at it.
