Jesus brought the new order

Under the Old Testament, there were only three offices that had the anointing of the Holy Spirit. These offices were: the Office of the King, the Office of the Prophet and the Office of the Priest. However, things are different in the New Testament. Anyone who believes in the Lord Jesus can receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit; this is the anointing. Sadly, some people are still running around, looking for someone to pray for them, looking for prophets to tell them what the Lord is saying. .......God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (2 Corinthians 6:16). Some people don't understand the ministry of the prophet in the New Testament. In fact it unscriptural for a Christian to go to a prophet to hear what God is saying about their lives, it's only carnal people who do such things. God did not promise to speak to his children through prophets, that was for the old Testament saints. In the new Testament, God has given us the Holy Spirit and he speaks to us directly. The ministry of the prophet in the new Testament is to confirm what God has already spoken to you about. If you are looking for the Word of God from a prophet, you are carnal. For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God (Romans 8:14). It is not wrong to receive a prophecy, it is not wrong to go see a prophet or a man of God concerning a particular issue, but you don't need to. The greater blessing is in knowing the Holy Spirit for yourself, and receiving his council and guidance in issues of life. Jesus talking about the Holy spirit said, "But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth"(John 16:13). John the Apostle wrote, "As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real" (1 John 2:27).
