2 Corinthians 3: 5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; The word sufficiency is translated from the Greek word hikanos, and it is an accounting term which means ample in amount, or to be content. Simply put, hikanos is an economic system which operates from the inside of a man and requires no aid or support from the outside. When God created man, he put everything that the man would require inside the man, meaning the life you are living today proceeds from your spirit. Man is complete in himself, he has in himself all the power to create and design the kind of life he would like to live, regardless of his surroundings. The life you are living today is an outward reflection of your inner man, it is a reflection of the state of your spirit. Your spirit is made of thoughts and information which you have allowed to form your beliefs about life. It doesn’t matter the country you were born in, it doesn’t matter the state of the economy in that country, if you are a success on the inside it will come out on the outside. Everything that you own came from your spirit, the clothes you are wearing, you wore them before you bought, the car you drive you drove it before you bought it, the person you married, you met before before you met physically. If you are a billionaire, it came from your spirit-if it’s by chance you will lose every cent of that money No one is responsible for your troubles, if you blame it on the devil then you are the one that opened a door for him, darkness invites darkness but where there is light darkness cannot stay. Man can either create good or evil by himself, this is why it is important to know God’s will and plan for your life and create it for yourself. God cannot make anyone do his will, however he can reveal his will to you, and then you the man must bring God’s will to pass. Things will not happen because they are God’s will, they will happen because you the man did your part to make God’s will come to pass. If you thinking it will happen because it is God’s will then you are in trouble
