Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) The Word profession in the above verse is translated from the Greek Word homologia and it means to say the same thing in consent. This means you repeat what God has said, you agree with the word and talk it to yourself or to your environment. Talking is a spiritual law, many people don't get this, every word which comes out of your mouth is spirit. Here is a spiritual secret: everything which we can see, touch, hear, feel, smell came from the earth (ground), whether its a house, a car, a plane, or even a human body, all these things came from the ground. God created the ground with words and put in it all the potentialities which we would need to survive and what man needs to do to survive or to live is to discover what is in the ground and bring it out. Now if everything comes from the ground and the ground was created by words, this means the ground has intelligence to hear words and everything which came from the ground will respond to words. When you talk everything in the universe can hear you, the body you live in can hear you, your house can hear you so be careful what you say because you will get it. The ground has no choice but to obey your words and produce what you tell it to. I read a story of woman who was sick with cancer and she went to her pastor and asked him to pray for her. But the pastor told her what she ought to do in order to get healed. He opened 1Peter2:24, which reads “by his stripes ye were healed” and said to the woman Jesus has already healed you from that sickness you just need to believe and take the healing for yourself. She said, if Jesus has already healed me, how come I still feel the cancer on my body, in reply to her question he said if you want to see the cancer gone from your body you must do whatever I tell you to do, she said anything you say, I will do. The Pastor said beginning from tomorrow, you must open 1Peter2:24 and read it to yourself 10 000 times a day, do this for the next 30 days, the woman agreed and went her way. The next day she began to confess the scripture 10 000 times, she continued to do the same thing for many days. After 30 the cancer in her body had disappeared. The Doctors checked and could not find any trace of cancer on her. Cancer came from the ground, her body came from the ground and she spoke words the ground had no choice but to obey.
