Daniel 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. This world will not continue forever, it will not be business as usual forever. Jesus is coming back to overthrow all the governments of this world. On his first advent, he came to establish a spiritual kingdom in the hearts of his people but in his second advent he is coming to establish a physical Kingdom in the earth. Jesus is coming to rule the world, he will rule from the Throne of David and Jerusalem will be his headquarters. Jesus will physically be in Jerusalem, and he will be there full time. The Bible doesn’t say we will be in heaven forever, it says the Kingdom of God is coming down to earth. It is true that we will be raptured to heaven, but that is only for seven years , after the seven year period in heaven we are coming back to earth to rule the world. Many years ago, the patriarch Jacob prophesied concerning the coming Kingdom, he said: ‘’The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be'' Gen 49:9). Unto Shiloh shall the gathering of the people be, Shiloh is the Lion from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, and his name is Jesus Christ. So don’t live your life trying to gain and win this world, for it will perish. Rather live to gain the riches of the world to come, which is an everlasting one.
