The Bible is not just a book, it is a communication of spiritual realities in the language of man. Jesus used many natural examples to explain spiritual truth, the focus of his teachings was not on the examples he used, but the spiritual meaning of those examples. At times he would say the Kingdom is like, that is to say, this is how things work in the realm of spirit. Spiritual understanding is seeing what is happening behind the veil and knowing what is happening behind the scenes. Prayer is spiritual, and something happens when you pray, you might not see anything in the natural, but the Kingdom of God is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in a garden, and it grew and became a tree. With the mind man understands natural things, he can relate with the natural environment and everything that is happening around him, likewise the human spirit knows what is happening in realm of the spirit.The Spiritual world gave birth to the natural world, whatever happens in the natural world must first happen in the spirit world. Man is a spirit, and everything which concerns him is spiritual, this means any natural victory that man can ever attain must first be wrought in the realm of spirit. Faith must first win the battle in the realm of the spirit because it is spiritual, then once the victory is won, nothing can stop it from manifesting in the natural. Don’t worry about the natural environment, work in changing matters in the spirit world. If you ever get something in the natural which does not belong to you in the spirit, you will loose it, own it in the spirit first and it will be yours forever.
