Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There's no religion, no religious leader, no methods, or medium under heaven for man's salvation, except by the Name of Jesus. As clear as this is in the Scriptures, there're some who contend with it, stating that there're many ways to God. There's no other name under heaven, given to men for salvation, except the Name of Jesus. In John 14:6, Jesus said unequivocally, "…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." I once heard Oprah Winfrey challenging that Jesus is the only way to God, she claimed that there are many ways to God and when a person reaches their higher self, that also can be classified as God, and that God is your gene which brings your every wish to pass through the power of the subconscious mind. People who normally challenge the Lordship of Jesus are those who already know in their hearts that Jesus is the only way, they are just trying to deceive themselves and others, their conscious testifies that Jesus is the only way. No matter how you try to twist the truth you can never deceive the inward witness in your spirit, deep down you know the truth. There may be many that are called gods, but there's only one God, and one mediator between God and men—the man, Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). He's the only One who reconciles men to God; the only One who bridges the gap, and makes friendship and peace between God and man. Romans 5:1-2 says, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."Man had no hope until Jesus came. Man had been separated from God, and from His glory; there was no way for him to be reconciled. That's the reason for all the religions of the world; they're seeking a way to come back to God. But Christ is the answer. He made it possible for us to receive the God-life, ushering us into God's presence
