In the book Mark 16:17, Jesus gave a sneak preview of a new group of people who were coming to flood the earth after he had gone back to heaven. In making reference to this new creation he said, these signs shall follow them that believe, in my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not have power over them, and they will lay hands on the sick and the sick shall recover. This is the new man recreated in the image of Christ Jesus, God has sown one Son and reaped millions of them, he has multiplied Jesus and we are the outcome of the multiplication. John 1:11-13 He came unto his own, and his own received him not But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. To be born again means you are no longer the same person your mother gave birth to, it means you have become a new creation born after the very image of Christ Jesus. You received God’s DNA the moment you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour and eternal life has replaced the human life with which you were born, you have now become a partaker of the divine nature. 1Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Christianity is the outworking of divinity in a man, it is God living, walking and talking through a man. When you accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you sign a legal document which states that the old man (your old self) has been crucified and buried with Christ, and your new man has been raised together with him and is now seated with him at the right hand of God, far above principalities, powers and rulers.Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
