Crush the Head of the Serpent

God does not hide his kids from Satan or from trouble, his purpose is to have his kids collide with trouble so that we can prove his Word in our own lives. Jesus has already given us authority over all Devils, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Mark 10:19). Whenever Satan comes against one of his kids, God watches the match, he does not interfere, he watches his kids put that fallen Angel on the run, and as we defeat him, God takes pride in us. Sometimes when we fight the fight of faith, God allows the saints which have passed on to watch us give Satan the beating of his life. Hebrews 12:1 talks about the cloud of witnesses who are watching us as we beat Satan, your family members who died in Christ are watching and cheering for you, Paul is watching, Peter, James, John and Moses are all watching.

It is the Father’s plan that we should collide with many adversaries in this life so that we can repossess the Territory they are sitting on. There are some enemies which have been divinely planned to collide with us for their destruction. In Obadiah 1:21, the Bible says “saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD’S.” The Church wasn’t meant to seek deliverance; we’re to give deliverance to the world, therefore we are the ones sent by God to deliver the world from the hands of Satan. Jesus said, “…as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you” (John 20:21). We’ve been called to do the same work which God the Father sent Jesus to do and we carry the same amount of authority over darkness as Jesus did. In Matthew 10:8, Jesus said, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” We’re the hope of the world! God left us here as answers to the cry of many. We’re the champions and saviours from Zion; sent of God to bring men and woman out of the darkness into the glorious light of their inheritance in Christ.
