The Bible says Solomon was wiser than all men (1 Kings 4:31), because God gave him wisdom and understanding, and knowledge too vast to be measured (1 Kings 4:29). This guy was the smartest guy on the planet. When Jesus came, he said “behold, a greater than Solomon is here” (Matthew 12:42). Jesus is the complete embodiment of wisdom and truth, what Solomon had was just a small piece of what the Lord Jesus is. Colossians 2:3 says, Christ; in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.True, Solomon was the wisest man that ever lived, but Christ, the embodiment of wisdom, lives in us, and what we have in him completely outshines what Solomon had. The New Creation in Christ is wiser than Solomon, our wisdom far exceeds that of King Solomon and all the great men mentioned in the Bible.
1Corinthians 1:30 says, But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom. Christ has given us an extraordinary amplitude of comprehension, a superior mental as well as supernatural sagacity to excel in all that we do. This means we have quickness of understanding, we are creative and innovative. We don’t operate with human wisdom because we have access to greater wisdom, accurate insight into reality. We have an understanding of the deepest things in life, and the ability to reason and act right. Christ being your wisdom means you’re excellent all the way. He makes you think what you should think, say what you should say, and do what you should do at the right time, in God’s way, for God’s purpose.
