The Life of Solomon

Excellence refers to the quality of your personality; it’s something that comes from your spirit and reflects in everything you do. The Bible says when the queen of Sheba realized how wise Solomon was, and when she saw the palace he had built, she was breathless. She was also amazed at the food on his tables, the organization of his officials and their splendid clothing…... (1Kings 10:5). Everything about Solomon was full of excellence, the people that worked for him dressed with excellence, the dining table was arranged with excellence, his house was full of beauty and excellence. This excellence was a product of his spirit, and it affected everything which was connected to him.

After seeing what she saw, she said: "Everything I heard in my country about your achievements and wisdom is true,I didn't believe it until I arrived here and saw it with my own eyes. Truly I had not heard the half of it! Your wisdom and prosperity are far greater than what I was told” (1Kings 10:6-8). In verse 9 she praised Solomon’s God, “The Lord your God is great indeed”When you walk with the Spirit of God, there will come a point in your life where your prosperity becomes undeniable, whether anybody likes it or not, they will not deny what they will be seeing in your life. You become so powerful that it becomes difficult to hide, You will not need to showoff to prove anything to anyone, rather let them hear of you. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of excellence, and brother when you walk with him, he will show you how to excel in everything you touch. God is eager to show His excellence through you, If you are a student, He wants you to function with an excellent spirit and display His perfection in your academics. Be the best in all that you do, don’t accept mediocrity, don’t just dress anyhow, dress like a King, talk like a King and walk like a King. God has called us to a Kingly life, and we must behave like Kings, because we are kings. And Brother, kings rule and wherever they are, they are treated with respect. The way you respect yourself, will equal the amount of respect people give you.
