Faith is standing in agreement with the Word of God. If God says to a stone, “this is bread”, faith agrees with that Word and calls the stone what God has called it, even though it might still look like a stone to the optical eyes. Faith says “yes Sir, this is bread”, before the stone becomes bread, and because the stone has intelligence, it will respond to the Word an
d become what the Word has called it. The Bible says, Peter looked at a paralyzed Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years and said, “Jesus Christ heals you! Get up, and roll up your sleeping mat!" And he was healed instantly [Acts 9:34].” Paralysis responded to the Word, it had no choice but to obey the name of Jesus.
Another similar example is found in Acts 3:1-6, of man who had been lame from birth, this man would be carried to the temple gate called beautiful everyday, so that he could beg for money from the people going into the Temple. One day Peter and John were by the same gate, the bible tell us, and this man being a begger asked them for money, and Peter replied to him and said, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk, And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God”. This Word of God works, it has been proven many time.
