God had said in Genesis 6:3 that man shall not live more than 120 years, referring to every natural human being born under Adam. This statement was true for all human beings born of flesh and blood, but when Jesus Christ came things changed, the Bible says, “as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God” (John 1:12-13). The born again man is not born by flesh and blood, his life came from the Spirit of God, therefore Genesis 6:3 does not apply to him.
The Laws of the Spirit function by knowledge, what man is ignorant of, he becomes a victim to. The reason everyone is dying today, is because they don’t know that they are not supposed to die. What you don’t know will kill you, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.” (Psalm 82:6-8). There is a man in India called maharishi of mt. Kailash, he is been alive for more than 400 years, go google it. The new creation in Christ has been given the right to decide when he wants to die. God does not decide when we should die, that decision is in our hands. Jesus has abolished death, the generation which gets hold of this truth, will be the generation of the rapture, and boy we are that generation.
